Ägarförändring: Cranab blir helägt av italienska Fassi

Den italienska krantillverkaren Fassi, som 2013 gick in som delägare i Cranab Group, blir genom köpet av Hans Eliassons ägarandel 100% ägare av Cranab Group bestående av företagen Cranab, Vimek och Bracke Forest.

”Vår ambition är att vidareutveckla Cranab till att bli en kranleverantör med bredare produktsortiment där lastbilskranar för timmertransporter, avfallshantering och återvinning blir nya produkter. Vi kommer även att utveckla programmet för kranar för skogsmaskiner där företaget redan har en stark position” säger Giovanni Fassi, VD för Fassi Group.

”Vad gäller Slagkraft, Vimek och Bracke Forest kommer vi att fullfölja de ambitiösa utvecklingsplaner vi redan har”, tillägger Giovanni.

Hans Eliasson lämnar överordförandeposten i Cranab Group till Giovanni Fassi. ”Jag har haft en lång och spännande resa med Cranab under 45 år. Det är min bestämda uppfattning att Cranab med Fassi som ägare har stora möjligheter i framtiden. Fassis ambitioner är att Cranab ska utveckla, producera och sälja kranar som kompletterar Fassi’s framgångsrika produkter inom styckegodshantering” kommenterar Hans Eliasson.

Fassi är ett mycket framgångsrikt familjeföretag med säte i Bergamo i norra Italien. Företaget startade som kranpåbyggare och importör av Focokranar från Skellefteå i början av 1960-talet. Idag är man en världsledande aktör på marknaden för styckegodskranar.
